Your profile in AutoLetter contains all personal and business information required to use the platform. Some fields are mandatory, others are optional -- but the more complete your profile is, the smoother everything works, from invoicing to campaign launches.
Complete your profile right after registration. In particular, you need to provide your company name and phone number before you can add a payment method and start campaigns.
Your email address is set during registration and is permanently linked to your account. It serves as your login name and the recipient address for notifications and invoices. It cannot be changed afterward.
If you registered with Google, the email address from your Google account is automatically used.
Only relevant if you registered with email and password. You can change your password at any time in the profile settings. Users who signed up via Google OAuth will not see this option -- authentication is handled entirely through Google in that case.
The company name is a mandatory field for invoicing. Without a company name on file, you cannot add a payment method and consequently cannot send campaigns. The company name appears on all invoices that AutoLetter creates for you.
The phone number is also mandatory before you can set up a payment method. It serves as a contact option for support and is listed on your invoices. Provide a number where you can be reached.
The industry field is optional. It helps AutoLetter show you more relevant templates and recommendations. You can fill in this field at any time or leave it empty.
Click on your user profile at the bottom of the sidebar or navigate to your profile settings through the menu.
Edit the desired fields. Mandatory fields are marked accordingly. Note that the email address cannot be changed.
Click "Save" to apply your changes. You will receive a confirmation once the data has been successfully updated.
Make sure your company name and phone number are correct before adding a payment method. Incorrect information can lead to invoicing issues.
