It can happen that you need to interrupt campaign creation -- whether due to a browser error, an interruption, or because you need to look something up. AutoLetter saves your progress automatically so nothing gets lost.
As you go through the 4-step wizard, AutoLetter saves your progress automatically in the background. Your data is saved with every step change and at important input points.
The automatic save includes all inputs you make in the campaign wizard:
| Saved Data | Example |
|---|---|
| Campaign name | "Welcome Letter Q1" |
| Campaign type | Recurring or One-time |
| Selected integrations | Shopify store, Billbee |
| Start and end date | 03/01/2026 -- 03/31/2026 |
| Budget | Daily budget 100 EUR, Total budget 2,500 EUR |
| Selected template | "Discount Letter Spring" |
| Print settings | Color, Duplex, without cover letter |
| Sender address | Your saved business address |
| Filters | First-time buyers, Location DE |
| Current step | Step 3 of 4 |
If you leave the campaign wizard before completing the creation, a recovery dialog appears on your next visit.
Click Create New Campaign in the campaign overview.
AutoLetter detects the saved draft and shows you a dialog:
If you select "Continue," you're taken directly to the saved step -- with all previously entered data.
The saved draft is stored in the browser (local storage). If you use a different browser or device, the draft won't be available there.
The saved draft is automatically deleted when:
Don't clear your browser cache if you have an incomplete campaign draft you want to continue. The draft is tied to your browser's local storage.
