Campaign Actions: Sending Letters, Updating Orders

Every campaign in AutoLetter offers various actions depending on its current status. In this article, you'll learn about the available actions and how the six tabs of the campaign detail view are structured.
The available actions depend on the current status of your campaign:

| Launch | Green play button | Starts the campaign. Letters are generated and sent from this point on. |
Before launching a campaign, make sure all settings are correct: template, target audience, budget, and sender address.

| Send pending letters | Triggers the sending of all letters that are ready but haven't been handed off to DHL yet. |
| Update orders | Syncs order data from your connected shops. New orders meeting the filter criteria are added to the campaign. |
| Pause | Temporarily stops sending new letters. |
| Action | Description |

| Resume | Resumes the campaign. Sending of new letters is restarted. |
| End | Permanently ends the campaign. This step is irreversible. |
No active sending actions are available for ended campaigns. However, you can still view statistics and export data.
The Send pending letters action is especially important for recurring campaigns. AutoLetter collects new orders that meet the filter criteria and creates letters from them. This action triggers the actual sending of the ready letters.
Select the active campaign in the campaign overview.
Click Send pending letters in the action bar.
The letters are handed off to DHL. You can track progress in the Letters tab.
The Update orders action syncs the latest order data from your connected shops (Shopify, Billbee, etc.). This is useful when you want to make sure all current orders are included.
AutoLetter also syncs orders automatically at regular intervals. The manual update is mainly useful when you know that many new orders have just come in.
When you open a campaign, six tabs are available:
The summary of your campaign: name, type, status, time period, target audience, and the most important metrics at a glance.
A list of all generated letters with details for each individual letter: recipient, creation date, shipping status, and cost. You can filter by status and view individual letters.
Shows the letter template used in this campaign. You can view the preview and make changes if needed.
The detailed budget view with the three progress circles (spent, reserved, remaining), status indicators, and budget actions.
Comprehensive statistics and charts: revenue, ROI, conversion rate, activity timeline, budget trend, shipping status breakdown, and AI Insights.
Overview of the shops and integrations connected to this campaign. Shows the sync status and number of orders per shop.
You can switch between tabs at any time without losing data. Each tab shows the most current information and updates automatically when opened.
