Why Can't I Start My Campaign?

Your campaign will not activate, and you see an error message or a disabled start button? In most cases, one or more prerequisites that AutoLetter checks before sending are missing. Go through the following checklist point by point to find the issue.
AutoLetter requires a valid payment method before letters can be sent. Billing runs through Stripe -- you can add a credit card or other supported payment methods.
Check: Go to Dashboard > Billing and make sure an active payment method is displayed.
Every campaign requires a letter template that defines the content of your mailing. Without an assigned template, the campaign cannot start.
Check: Open the campaign and verify in the Template tab that a template is selected.
AutoLetter needs recipient data. This comes from a connected integration (Billbee, Shopify, CSV import, or API). Without customer data, there is no one to send letters to.
Check: Go to Dashboard > Integrations and make sure at least one data source is actively connected and customers have been synchronized.
Every campaign requires a defined budget -- either as a daily budget or a total budget. Without a budget, AutoLetter will not start sending.
Check: Open the campaign and verify in the Budget tab that an amount has been entered.
A valid sender address in Germany is required for letter delivery via DHL. Without a sender address, no letter can be sent.
Check: Go to Dashboard > Sender Addresses and make sure at least one address has been created.
AutoLetter requires basic business information such as company name and phone number. An incomplete profile may block the campaign launch.
Check: Go to Dashboard > Settings > Profile and fill in all mandatory fields.
The dashboard shows you warning messages when a prerequisite is not met. Look for yellow or red notice bars at the top of your dashboard -- they tell you directly what is missing.
