Want to launch your first direct mail campaign with AutoLetter as quickly as possible? This article gives you a compact overview of the five essential steps -- from connecting your data source to having a finished letter in your customers' mailboxes.
Before you get started, you need an AutoLetter account. If you don't have one yet, register at app.autoletter.eu/register -- signing up is free and takes just two minutes.
AutoLetter needs customer data to send letters. You have several options:
Tip: Start with the integration that best fits your existing workflow. You can add more data sources at any time.
Design the letter your customers will receive. You have two options:
Make sure your template includes a sender address. You can set this up under "Shipping Addresses" in your dashboard.
Create a new campaign and configure who should receive letters and how much you want to spend:
Once your campaign is active, AutoLetter takes care of the rest. Letters are automatically printed and sent via DHL E-PostBusiness. You don't need to worry about anything -- no printing, no stuffing envelopes, no trips to the post office.
Depending on the campaign type, this happens either immediately (one-time) or continuously as new customers meet the filter criteria (recurring).
In the dashboard, you can see your campaign performance in real time:
Use this data to optimize your campaigns: adjust target audience filters, budget, or template to achieve the best results.
AutoLetter uses a pay-per-letter model. You only pay for letters that are actually sent. There are no monthly fees, no setup costs, and no minimum quantities. Billing is handled through Stripe. You can find the exact per-letter pricing in your dashboard under "Billing."
Start with a small test group and a low budget to verify your setup. Once everything runs smoothly, you can expand your budget and target audience at any time.
